The Homeschool Enrichment Center of Johnson County (est. 2005) is a division of Olathe Christian School (est. 1983), which exists for the purpose of serving homeschool families in our community. The Center is based on the premise that while home educators may be the best teachers for their children, benefits can be gained through additional resources coming from outside the home. Parent and child alike will benefit from becoming part of a network that supports them through social connections, supplemental classes, and extracurricular activities.
There are three primary aspects of the Center: classes, extracurricular activities (sports 5th-12th, field trips, seasonal parties, etc.), and parental support.
